オブジェの秘密

The Story behind
Inspired by antique pieces belonging to the Emile Hermes collection, the scarf’s fan-shaped composition was first designed by Julie Abadie in 1972 and is now available in new colorways. Hunting knives were once engraved with symbols: hunting horns, anchors, suns or shells were used to identify the different crews, and hung from cavalrymen’s belts thanks to snap hooks decorated with cords and tassels. In the bottom right corner we can see a sabretache. These flat leather bags, which were also attached to belts, were used for carrying small essential objects or even a little food.

エミール・エルメス・コレクションに収められたアンティークの美しい装備に感銘を受けたジュリー・アバディは、1972年、それらを扇の形に配したデザインを描きました。そして今シーズン、新しいカラーバリエーションのカレとして生まれ変わりました。組紐や房飾りのついた金具でつながれた剣帯。吊るされたいくつものサーベルには、狩猟用の角笛、錨、太陽、貝など持ち主が属する隊のシンボルが刻まれています。右下に横たわるのは、同じく剣帯から吊るされたサーブルタッシュ。革製の平たく軽い小袋であるサーブルタッシュはポケットの代わりのようなもので、携帯用の保存食や小物を入れることができました。
