The Story behind
Based on the design of the Les Cles scarf
From the golden key that the Lords of the Council of State presented to the governor of the Low Countries under the name Charles III, to the key that opened the doors of Notre-Dame, all forty-seven keys illustrated on this scarf are authentic. In the center we find an Hermes Museum purse embroidered with key motifs. Silk cords and tassels imitate the loops and arabesques of the keys. The complexity of the web (the bottom part, designed to turn in the lock) makes us wonder what room, piece of furniture or drawer they open; what secrets they so gracefully protect. The scarf is a tribute to the goldsmiths who worked on these beautiful pieces.
レ・クレスのスカーフをベースにデザイン
シャルル3世の名で低地総督に献上された黄金の鍵から、ノートルダムの扉を開いた鍵まで、このスカーフに描かれている47個の鍵はすべて本物です。中央には、鍵のモチーフが刺繍されたエルメス・ミュージアムの財布があります。シルクのコードとタッセルは、鍵の輪や唐草を模している。複雑な網目（鍵の中で回転するようにデザインされた下の部分）は、どんな部屋、家具、引き出しを開けるのか、どんな秘密を優雅に守ってくれるのか、私たちに想像させてくれます。このスカーフは、これらの美しい作品を手掛けた金細工職人へのオマージュです。
