The Story behind
Illustrator Ugo Bienvenu celebrates the carefree nature of summer and holidays by the sea. Depicted in the style of an American comic, the print tells the story of a crowd of tourists staying at a futuristic seaside resort. A super hero flies over the town’s rooftops, where daring teenagers choose to gather, an exhilarating horse race takes place while people lounge by a pool nearby, and a mermaid takes refuge in the arms of a lifeguard. Comic book characters and quirky vehicles intersect in the four corners of this detail-filled design.
アーティストのユゴ・ビアンヴニュが描いたのは、夏の甘美な幸福感と海辺で過ごすきままなヴァカンスの群像劇。アメリカン・コミックスの世界を思わせる近未来のビーチリゾートは、ヴァカンスに胸を高鳴らせる海水浴客たちで賑わっています。あちらには屋根の上を颯爽と飛ぶスーパーヒロインと屋根ではしゃぐ若者たち。こちらには大通りを駆け抜ける馬たちが輝くボディを閃かせ、その傍らにはプールサイドでのんびりと休暇を満喫する人たちの姿があります。ライフガードの胸に飛び込んでいるのは・・・なんと人魚！ 個性豊かなキャラクターとユニークな乗り物が交差し、カレのなかでドラマを繰り広げています。
